Met Ron on my first visit to costa blanca in a football bar in san luis. When bought a place 4 years later contacted Ron and we spent lots of time in his company. Was our first point of contact when we learning the way in Spain. He wouldnt visit us in UK, as he thought we were to close to London lol.

Went to York and spent a weekend taking in City v Orient….

Life didnt always run smoothly for Ron, but he was resiliant and i get the feeling his last years were very happy in the that ‘van’ that i teased him about…
